Ginebra will be in the Finals

Ginebra Gin Kings lost the semi-final series to Alaska Aces, I can’t blame them, they were against a much healthier and sharper team, kudos to Alaska, but being an avid fan of the never say die Ginebra, I am always hopeful for the chances of my team going to the next conference.

In an import laden PBA fiesta conference, the Gins should get a bigger import, an import that plays the center position pretty well and can dominate the paint. They already have a lot of shooting guards who can score heavily from the outside and with a big import plus a healthy Menk, Villanueve and Mamaril, they have a championship team.

Also a promising addition to the team is the comeback of another player who plays the forward position harder that any player I know. He can score, he can defend well and crash the offensive boards insanely.  Rudy Hatfield will suit up anew with the Gin Kings.

I think San Miguel will still be the toughest team to beat, Alaska will be a force to reckon with, All-Filipino Champ Purefoods and Talk and Text will be hanging tough, but Ginebra will make a killing in the three point area once they can get the ball more defensively and offensively and Hatfield and a big import can give them that.

Fearless broadcast, it’ll be Ginebra, Alaska, SMB and Purefoods again in the semi-finals, but Purefoods and Ginebra will be in the finals if they don’t meet in the semis. Go Ginebra!
